Understanding the Dashboard

Your LeadsFollow dashboard is your command center. This guide will help you understand all the components and how to navigate efficiently.

Dashboard Overview

When you log in, you'll see the main dashboard with:

  • Header: Navigation, organization switcher, and user menu
  • Sidebar: Quick navigation to all sections
  • Main Content: Widgets and summaries

Header Navigation

The header contains:

Organization Switcher

  • Shows your current organization
  • Click to switch between organizations (if you belong to multiple)
  • Located on the left side
  • Dashboard: Overview and stats
  • Leads: Manage all leads
  • Pipeline: Visual kanban board
  • Tasks: All tasks and reminders
  • Calendar: Events and scheduled activities
  • Contacts: Contact database
  • Forms: Lead capture forms
  • Settings: Account and organization settings

User Menu

  • Your profile
  • Preferences
  • Billing (if applicable)
  • Sign out

The sidebar provides quick access to:

  1. Dashboard - Main overview
  2. Leads - All leads
  3. Pipeline - Visual pipeline
  4. Tasks - Task management
  5. Calendar - Calendar view
  6. Contacts - Contact management
  7. Forms - Lead capture forms
  8. Team - Team management (if you're an admin/owner)
  9. Settings - Configuration options

Dashboard Widgets

The main dashboard shows:

Stats Cards

  • Total leads count
  • Leads by status
  • Tasks due today
  • Upcoming events
  • Recent activity

Recent Leads

  • Latest leads added
  • Quick access to recent leads
  • Status indicators

Upcoming Tasks

  • Tasks due today
  • Overdue tasks
  • Upcoming tasks

Recent Activity

  • Latest communications
  • System events
  • Team activity

Quick Actions

From the dashboard, you can quickly:

  • Add Lead: Create a new lead instantly
  • Create Task: Add a reminder or to-do
  • View Pipeline: Jump to the kanban board
  • Check Calendar: View upcoming events

Keyboard Shortcuts

Speed up your navigation:

  • ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows): Open command palette
  • Use arrow keys to navigate options
  • Press Enter to select

The command palette lets you:

  • Search for leads
  • Navigate to any section
  • Create new items
  • Execute quick actions

Mobile Navigation

On mobile devices:

  1. Tap the hamburger menu (☰) to open the sidebar
  2. Use the bottom navigation for quick access
  3. Swipe between sections

Customization

Customize your dashboard experience:

  1. Go to SettingsPreferences
  2. Adjust:
    • Theme (light/dark)
    • Dashboard widgets
    • Default views
    • Notification preferences

Tips for Efficient Navigation

  1. Use the command palette (⌘K) for quick navigation
  2. Bookmark frequently used leads in your browser
  3. Use filters to focus on specific leads
  4. Set up saved views for common searches
  5. Sort columns - Click column headers in the leads list to sort by name, email, destination, status, etc.
  6. Use keyboard shortcuts to speed up your workflow
  7. Log activities quickly - Use the "Log Activity" button in lead headers for fast communication logging
